Ford announced the Connected Car Expo at the LA Auto Show that its new Escape will be installed with SYNC applications and Connect service offered free for five years duration. Connect SYNC is connected to a modem installed in the vehicle that will allow owners to remotely access features via their smartphones.

You can also make a remote start and apparently you can also plan your car boot which is useful in the scenario where if you park your car under the hot sun, you can actually start your first car and turn on the air conditioning before actually drive your car so that the time you want to use the car, the temperature in the car is not too hot. You can use apps to check the location of your car too in case you forgot where you parked your car.
