Technology and Ride-Sharing Companies Working together to promote self driving cars at government -

Companies that involve making self driving cars will join together to promote self cars conduct in government and we hope the government will come up with regulations and policies as soon as possible. Companies such as Ford, Google, Uber, Lyft and Volvo announced the formation of Self Driving Coalition for Safer Streets group to do.

The group will be led by David Strickland. Strickland worked for National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) before appointed lawyer and spokesman of the group. NHTSA was awarded by the Department of Transport to come up with a set of rules for car driving by early summer cars.

Strickland said the best way for this innovation was to have a single set of federal standards and the Coalition will work with decision makers to find the right solutions that facilitate the deployment of vehicles auto driving.

announcing the group's formation came before the second of two public hearings on self-driving cars by NHTSA. The first public hearing held at the Ministry of Transportation in Washington DC, while the second was held at Stanford University.

Google strong involvement in self driving cars was observed in tests of Lexus SUV car driving tens in three US cities. Ford, on the other hand, has tested its technology in Dearborn, Michigan campus. Uber built a research facility primarily for research on self-driving cars in Pittsburgh. Lyft was seen working with General Motors to create a concept of shared autonomous cars while Volvo has announced that the company will test 100 autonomous vehicles in China.
