NVIDIA is a company known for making graphics card and computers since long ago. Most of its products are found in electronic products such as computers. Recently, the company has put in a lot of effort to go to the autonomous car market with a new system that is able to teach itself how to handle scenarios that are not encountered before while driving on public roads with minimal interference of human drivers.
most autonomous cars that are currently being tested on public roads able to drive on the basis of certain conditions present on the road. One example is that it is able to stay on the line by detecting the painted lines on roads. However, if the painted lines are not present, the system does not know what to do. Another challenge facing a self-driving car on a snow where it is difficult to differentiate between objects.
Apparently, NVIDIA has developed a system that can handle this kind of scenarios. The company found an algorithm that is able to classify the road, even if it is painted these lines on it as well as he is able to differentiate objects when driving through snow.
