Traffic Jam Assist safety Feature Coming to your car in the next two years -

We have heard of features like lanekeeping help or assistance being installed in our parking vehicles. However, there is a new feature that can be classified as a luxury and at the same time security feature known as Traffic Jam Assist. It was supposed to be available on the new Volvo cars in 2014 and now many other well-known manufacturers such as Ford or Audi develop the feature and all are projected to start on selected models in the next two years.

Traffic jam Assist is designed to use anti-collision, anti-bump and anti-scraping tools to help your car to travel smoothly along the state's busiest road. It will save drivers a lot of time and frustration of constant acceleration and braking while stuck in the worst traffic jam state. However, it works specifically in heavy traffic rather than an open road and at slow speeds of 31 miles per hour (49.9 km / h) or less.

Traffic jam assist can be activated by pressing a button in the Volvo car models. After the button is pressed, the car will automatically if decisions to steer, speed up, slow down and determine the extent necessary to maintain distance around other vehicles and obstacles. The function would work in a similar way for other manufacturers, but with little differences. In Mercedes Benz, for example, will require the drivers to always get your hands on the wheel for the feature to work otherwise it will disengage. Ford version of other uses audio warnings to alert drivers in case if the system unable to handle certain road conditions.
