In the LA Auto Show this week, Land Rover was showing off its new Evoque Convertible. It is an idea "out-of-the-box" of the company to cut the top of the popular Evoque to make it convertible. It is certainly not for everyone. It is like off-road vehicle that is designed for use on nature, but it can also be conducted on the area of the city, once polished up.
Some other example of this mesh to convertible friendly all-terrain such as the first generation Chevy Blazer, Ford Bronco, Toyota Land Cruiser and Jeep Wrangler.
Unlike convertible Evoque with the rest is that Land Rover launches into a playfulness in design. It claims to be compact as trunk space seem smaller, but Land Rover has said that there is still room for a set of golf clubs and a slot which extends in the trunk to the back seat, which is enough form for a pair of skis.
There will be 2 types of Evoque Convertible offered sE and dynamic HSE. Both will feature the 240 horsepower engine, transmission speeds and new all wheel drive standard. In addition, there are aluminum bars installed to protect passengers in case of a rollover accident occurs.
Although Land Rover showed only the white exterior color option in Los Angeles Auto Show, the company has assured that there will be many more colors and options once it reaches dealerships. The convertible will be on the road in May.
