Ford plans to create autonomous vehicles can participate Google -

Ford opened its latest Research and Innovation Centre in Palo Alto, California. Outside of this place, Ford has a few research centers working on different technologies. The center of Dearborn, Michigan, is working on the man-machine interface and advanced electronics while the other center in Germany explores the future drive trains, driver-assistance and safety systems.

In its latest research center, Ford is most likely to be used for work on the future of automotive technology. The company has hired Dragos Maciuca, a former Apple engineer, to lead innovation projects such as autonomous and unmanned vehicles, car dashboard and integration of the smart home, including integration Nest thermostat Google and shoot CPU acceleration left for more accurate voice recognition.

Ford also sees working with Stanford University on a project called Fusion hybrid standalone collaborative research vehicle. It is a technology to allow the car driverless system to know where it goes and predict what will happen at the next junction. In this way, we hope it will be able to avoid the collision and prevent accidents from occurring.

It is not surprising if Ford decides to work with Google on its autonomous vehicle. Since working together, both companies will save on resources and time to go out with the software and hardware necessary for autonomous system to work perfectly. Ford helps the software and hardware of the vehicle while Google contributes to the autonomous car software.
