Rinspeed is coming up with a concept car that is known as Etos. The concept car will be presented at CES 2016 tech cars that are normally highlighted and announced at the event instead of a major auto show. Etos is designed to be able to take you anywhere you want to go with a small entrance of the driver and is perfectly capable of traveling in standalone mode with wheel able to fold and retract in the direction of the dashboard.
Etos comes with many interesting features. One of them is a drone airstrip integrated rear. It is interesting because it has many potential uses that people do not think. Rinspeed suggested it could be used to look for flowers that the pilot ordered online and delivered to the recipient. Another use for this is to take video of the wild ride on the road to fun and favorite live streaming friends.
Apparently Etos is the first car that has this concept of matching a car with a UAV (Unmanned autonomous vehicle) drone. There is one year, Renault had Kwid the concept presented in the Delhi Auto Expo which is SUV with a landing strip for the companion drone on the roof of the car. Similar to the UAV Etos of the drone Kwid is designed to be able to take aerial photography, but also be able to spot the jams and traffic congestion.
