Parrot MINIKIT Neo 2 HD feature that seems to have already found out the market as allowing drivers to make and receive phone calls while driving. However, the difference is that the device allows them to do so without touching the button! All the driver has to do is say the keyword 'MINIKIT' and the device will listen to your command. Therefore, to receive a phone call, all the driver has to do is say "Accept" or "Decline"!
Parrot MINIKIT Neo 2 HD supports both Bluetooth and NFC. In addition, it can connect to two mobile devices simultaneously and is compatible with either iOS or Android operating system. The device can be considered an upgrade to previous models MINIKIT Neo with improvement, as always listening voice control functionality as well as improved sound quality.
For the hardware side, the device comes with two buttons, green and red button. The green button is used for confirmation while selecting the menu when the red button is used to cancel the option. In addition to this there is a clickable jog wheel that allow users to scroll through the menu. Finally, there is a mini-USB port that is capable of charging via a USB cable or an auxiliary port to power the car, and to make software updates.
The smartphone application for the device is available for Android and iOS. It adds more characteristic of the existing hands-free device such as display information about how long you've been driving, how long you parked your car or parking space.
