Toyota Motor Corp. announced that the company planned to make their self driving cars to operate fully on the roads '2020. in addition, the company appears to move the term he used to describe their new advanced driver support system for automated driving. The new system will be able to allow vehicles up and down the highway and changing lanes without driver intervention.
Masahiro Iwasaki, an engineer involved in the project mentioned that they were afraid that by using the term "automated driving", people misunderstood that humans are not involved at all.
