A study finance site NerdWallet advice on what public think about autonomous cars since it seems they will be the main public transport in the future. The result looks like there will be a lot of marketing need to be done to convince the public to have at least one of them.
The study is based on the results of the online survey of 1028 people in the US with 52 percent women and 48 percent men. Of these 52 percent of women, 37 percent of them are reported to be interested in owning a 50 percent while 48 percent of men is also interested in the vehicle. However, 55 percent of women is reported to worry about the safety of the driverless car, while 37 percent of men share the same thought. On the positive side, only 49 percent of those who did the survey were not interesting to own one.
In addition, according to the survey, 6 percent of respondents are willing to put a child alone autonomous vehicle, while 18 percent is still not sure of the idea of the . 44 percent of men worried that once the autonomous vehicle will take pleasure in the conduct behind the wheel compared to 23 percent of women share the concern.
It seems that most people prefer to wait some time before considering buying one.
