General Motors App allows drivers to unlock or lock or even open car doors Remotely -

General Motors is reported to work together with OnStar to develop an application that is able to unlock, lock or open remote car doors. The two companies have worked together since 190 as OnStar installed in GM cars. OnStar provides telematics services for General Motors in the case if there is an emergency.

This step is considered the General Motors way to break away from traditional ways of doing things and moving towards the use of new technologies to do things in a more practical way. With Tesla, BMW, Uber, Apple and Google, all competing to get better technology for its automobile, GM might need to take steps to ensure they are not left behind.

From next year, GM will add a fleet of driverless hybrid Chevrolet Volt is able to drive autonomously in Michigan engineering campus. It will be initially released to be used for employees to hitchhike in. In addition, the company also plans to launch a new car-sharing partnership with The Ritz Plaza luxury apartments in New York. A shared Chevrolet SUV will be available to be shared at some point to take passengers to their destination. In this way, it also helps the company to expose its product and services to the wider public.

With new technologies invented, problems such as accidentally locked out of your car, it can be a problem in the pass that can be easily solved with the new technology.
